Walker took the first five rounds, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Gill began to fight back in the 6th round, and appeared to puzzle Walker with his awkward defense. The Inquirer scored the 6th, 8th, and 9th rounds even, while giving Gill the 7th, and Walker the final round. Gill was cut over his left eye in the 3rd round.
