Hudkins knocked Flynn down in the 2nd round with a right hand to the chin, for a five-count. Flynn staggered through the remainder of the 2nd round, and was then finished in the 3rd round with a right to the pit of the stomach. Flynn had won the first round, after outworking Hudkins three-to-one.
