Doc Snell beat Joe Gorman by TKO in round 4 of 6

Gorman went down a second time without being hit - he had gotten up wobbly and collapsed before Snell could sock him again. Snell's friend, Bud Ridley, who had fought Gorman a few times, was helping out in his corner. Gorman was a late substitute for Vic Foley, who had taken ill. This is Gorman's first confirmed knockout loss.
