Sekyra was knocked down in the 3rd round, with what he claimed was a low blow for a seven-count. After Sekyra rose, Duncan landed another bow that the referee ruled low, and was given a warning by the referee. Duncan went to raise his hands to shake with Sekyra, but was instead hit by a right hand to the chin, that floored him. The referee didn't count over Duncan, but asked him to rise, which he was unable to do, as he was out.
