Ike Williams 145 lbs lost to Gil Turner 145 lbs by TKO at 2:32 in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1951-09-10
- Location: Shibe Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
- Referee: Pete Tomasco
Williams was at his best in the first four rounds, winning the 2nd and 4th, in the eyes of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Williams had nothing left after that, save for a rally in the 7th round. Turner was able to counter Williams' left hand, and hit him with right hands, that raised swelling over his left eye. Turner pummeled Williams to the body in the 6th round, but tired in the 7th round. In the 10th round, a bolo punch sent Williams to the ropes. Williams attempted to fight back, but a heavy attack from Turner had him out on his feet, dangling on the ropes, at which point the referee intervened.
