Leo Lomski beat Bob Mariels by KO in round 3 of 10

Mariels knocked Lomski down at the end of the 2nd round with a right hand. As the 3rd round began, Lomski came across the ring before Mariels had risen from his corner, and lunged into him, knocking him to the canvas. As Mariels rose, Lomski hit him with a left hook, that put him down for the ten-count. After Mariels came to, he rose and went after Lomski, and the two exchanged blows. Both boxers were disappointed with the outcome, and sought a rematch.
