Jordan knocked Rubio down with a left hook in the opening seconds of the bout. Rubio took an eight-count, and was dropped again with a left for a three-count. Jordan tore into Rubio, and then put him down for a third time, for a six-count. Rubio clinched with Jordan, but was pushed through the ropes by Jordan. Referee Mark Conn, elected to stop the bout at this point.
