• DeGale was cut around the right eye in round ten from an accidental clash of heads. The cut was not a factor in the bout.

• Eubank lost a point for fouling in round 11. DeGale's legs appeared unsteady at this point,and he held to survive.

• Consistent performance by Eubank with round by round combinations. Degale loaded up single shot.

• The scorecards went three different ways. One judge had it 114-112. Another had it 117-109. Third card 115-112 appeared closest to correct.
