For this fight, Leal was originaly thought to be Michael Bulca. The reason of this missunderstanding is that his manager, José Quijano, changed his real name in order to hide the fact that Leal had lost in Korea.

The name he devised was Michael Bulca: Michael because it means Miguel in spanish and Bulca since it´s related to his real nickname, "Pulgarcito" (shorty in english).
