Jake LaMotta 162 lbs beat George Kochan 165 lbs by TKO in round 9 of 10

LaMotta dropped Kochan with a right to the head, early in the 9th round. Kochan went back after LaMotta, but was sent him flying into the ropes with a left to the head. Kochan was turning to resume the battle, when the referee stopped it. Kochan took the lead at the start of the bout, but LaMotta took every round from the 4th onward.
