Villaflor knocked Okamoto down in the opening moments of the bout with a left hook to the chin. Okamoto rose at five, and was met with a flurry of blows, that mostly missed. Okamoto began to fight back, when Villaflor landed two left hooks to the jaw, that ended the bout.
