Harrington, 148 1/2, made a grand stand in the first four rounds and again in the seventh but he lost steam in the final three heats. The Louisville, Ky., welterweight, showed plenty of class and was quick with his hands. He also exhibited fast footwork that kept him on top of Harrington through most of the fight."
