Dazzo fought an even first round with Miller, but finished the round with a slight cut on his scalp. Miller controlled the rest of the contest, keeping Dazzo off with a right jab, while battering his body and scoring with left hooks and uppercuts upstairs. Miller put Dazzo down for an eight count early in the 6th round with a left to the chin. Dazzo arose out on his feet, and was put away with another left to the chin.
