Miller out-boxed Lasky in the first three rounds, cutting Lasky over his right eye. Lasky began to soften up Miller in the 4th round. Lasky swarmed all over Miller in the 5th round, driving him into a neutral corner, where he appeared to go down from exhaustion for a nine-count. Lasky dropped Miller again with a left hook to the jaw, and before the count could be started, Miller's corner threw in the towel.
