Cardoza had Steele pinned against the ropes in the 2nd round, and was pouring punches on Steele, when Stele fought his way back into the center of the ring. Steele landed a right-hand punch to the chin that sent Cardoza spinning face first to the canvas. Cardoza attempted to rise at the count of eight, to no avail.
