Berglund was knocked down in the 1st round from a straight right to the jaw, for a two-count. After Barth won the second round, Berglund lunged in at Barth and was floored for a nine-count by another right hand. Berglund arose wobbly, and after taking another half dozen right hands, he went down again. Berglund attempted to rise at the count of eight, but was counted out.
