Shkor knocked Ferry down in the opening round with a right hand for a three-count. Shkor continued to pound Ferry in the 2nd round, dropping him with another right hand for a three-count. By now Ferry's left eye was closed, and shortly after the knockdown the bout was stopped. A few members of the crowd threw papers into the ring after the stoppage.
