Cobb knocked Wright down in the first minute of the opening round, for a nine-count, and down again later for another nine-count. Wright was knocked down once in the 2nd, once in the 3rd, and twice in the 4th round. His corner threw in the towel after his last trip to the canvas. This was a rematch of the main event in San Diego the week before.
