Miller took seven of ten rounds, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. He was awarded the Greater Cincinnati featherweight belt, after he won the vote of four sportswriters present. Miller started off with a body attack early in the bout, and controlled the action after the 5th round. Harris' best rounds were the 3rd and 5th. Both men weighed under 126 pounds.
