Russo was able to box around Terranova with some effectiveness in the early rounds. Terranova began to take control in the 5th round, as he was able to use a body attack to pound out the decision. Russo sustained one cut eye early in the bout, and was cut over both eyes by the end. Terranov had a cut on his nose.
