Dunn used his longer reach to jab and hook Stato to an advantage in the early rounds. Stato eventually worked his way inside and knocked Dunn down at the bell to end the 9th round with a left hook and right cross to the jaw. Dunn recovered for the 10th, and the two gave the crowd a thrilling closing round.
