Torres dominated the first three rounds, and then dropped Andrade with a right uppercut in the 4th round for an eight-count. Torres then went for the finish as Andrade covered up, Andrade backed Torres up with a right hand with a minute left in the round, and then controlled the action until the bell rang. Midway in the 5th, Andrade feinted a left hand and nailed Torres with a right hand to the jaw, that floored him for an eight-count. After a few more blows from Andrade, Torres was knocked down again, with Torres rising just before the bell to end the 5th round. Torres appeared to have recovered, as the two traded to begin the 6th round. At around the two-minute mark of the 6th round, Andrade landed a long right hand that dropped Torres for a nine-count. Torres rose in bad shape, and he was finished by two left jabs, a right hand, capped off by a finishing left hook.
