After three even rounds, Moniz knocked Beauchene down with a right to the head for a nine-count. Beauchene sustained a bad cut on his cheek from the blow, and was in bad shape when he came out for the 5th round. In the 5th round, Moniz dropped Beauchene for a nine-count with a left-right, and though he rose, he was in shape to continue.
