Brown battered Glick from the start of the bout. Glick asked the referee to stop the bout between the 6th and 7th round, but the referee ignored his request. Glick came out for the 7th round, with his hands down, and appearing to be unwilling to fight. The referee then stopped the bout. After the bout Glick stated "I had gas pains."
