Bob Stecher 160 lbs beat Jose Contreras 162 lbs by KO at 1:12 in round 10 of 10

Stecher attempted to repeat his previous one round knockout over Contreras, rattling his opponent early on. Contreras rallied back, and hurt Stecher with a right hand in the 1st, and raised a mouse under Stecher's eye in the 2nd, and cut him over his left eye in the 3rd.

A right to the head in the 4th, knocked Stecher down. Contreras then won the next four rounds, mixing his attack to the head and body. Stecher rallied in the 8th and 9th, cutting Contreras' nose and lip. Entering the 10th, Stecher trailed on all three cards by at least five points, and needed a knockout to win. In the 10th, while the two were trading inside, Contreras threw a right hand, but was beat to the punch by a Stecher left hook. Contreras hit the canvas, making it to his knees, before being counted out.
