Davis knocked down Fatta with a left hook in the 2nd round for an eight-count. Davis then dropped Fatta with another left hook for eight, and scored a third knockdown for a five-count. Fatta was then dropped for fourth time with a short left, taking a no-count. Davis put Fatta down for a fifth time for another left. Fatta barely beat the count, and was staggering, this time the bout was stopped.
