Castro was knocked down for a nine-count by a left uppercut to the head early in the 5th round. A left hook to the body seconds later dropped him for another nine-count. He went down for a third nine-count after slipping after a missed punch. Castro went down for a fourth time, more from exhaustion, and the bout was stopped.
