Al Hostak 156 lbs beat Leonard Bennett 151 lbs by KO in round 8 of 10

In the first three rounds neither man had a decided edge. Near the end of the 3rd, Hostak backed out of a collision with his left eye swollen shut, from either a punch or a butt. Hostak attacked wildly in the 4th round, and had Bennett groggy. Bennett weathered the storm though and in rounds five through seven he scored points with his slugging. In the 8th, Bennett spun Hostak with a left hand. Bennett pursued Hostak, but Hostak clipped him with a right hook to the jaw. Bennett pitched forward, face first to the canvas, where he was counted out.
