After two slow rounds to open the fight, Maloni landed a wild left hook to Drew's jaw, that floored him for a nine-count. Drew was in bad shape after he rose, and he was floored again for a six-count. Upon rising, Maloni drove Drew to the ropes where he began to sag. The referee helped Drew to his feet, and Maloni landed a left hand to the body, that ended the bout.
