California heavyweight champion Jack O’Halloran, holding a 40-pound weight advantage, unleashed a right uppercut, right hook and left hook in a furious eighth round to knock out the brother of Muhammad Ali in a scheduled 10-rounder. Rahman Ali, younger brother of the heavyweight champion, danced, jabbed, and controlled the bout for seven rounds before O’Halloran scored his series of punches. O’Halloran, a 6-foot-6 inch strongman, weighed 244 pounds while Ali weighed in at 201.
