In the co-feature of the Darroll "Doin Damage" Wilson & "Smokin" Bert Cooper, local heavyweight prospect "Fast" Eddie Chambers, 223, nailed Cincinnati, OH's lanky Antonio Colbert, 188, with everything but the kitchen sink en-route to a TKO at :57 of the 5th round of a scheduled 6 round bout. Chambers, who won every round, cut Colbert under his left eye and bloodied his mouth, but could not drop him despite landing numerous power shots. Referee Ron Aurit called the doctor in to look at Colbert's cut. He let the fight continue briefly, but called a halt shortly thereafter with Colbert soaking up heavy punishment. Chambers moves to 11-0, with 6 KO's, and Colbert falls to 5-26, with 3 KO's.
