The Spaniard Angel Grela made his pro debut under Norwegian skies and management against Michel Blinker of Surinam, fighting out of Netherlands. In Michel Blinker (2-0-0) he faced a tall, lanky and very cool " negro boxer " who backed away, rolled under the punches and seemed to posess a lifetime of routine. Grelas relentless attacks however very soon made Blinker lose all control, falling out of the ring twice. One of Blinker's punches missed so badly that he fell flat on his face. In the fourth round Blinker was on the verge of being knocked out, and the refree stopped the uneven spectacle.

The correspondent in Aftenposten wrote: Not exactly first class boxing, but rather third class boxing of the first class.
