This fight was competitive for the first three rounds. By the 4th round, Turner's body work had begun to wear on Bernardo. In the 5th round, Turner hurt Bernardo and drove him twice to the ropes and battered him. After the latter trip to the ropes, and with Bernardo helpless, the referee stopped the bout.
