Frankie Tucker was known for having the only female manager in the world--his sister Elizabeth. According to some local newspaper accounts, just before the bell rang to start this contest, Elizabeth leaned over and advised her brother how to beat Neff, which he followed "to the letter," thus giving Neff "an artistic trimming."
