"Fritzie Zivic, our former welterweight champion, dropped Maxie Berger six times in his ten-rounder at the Gardens and easily beat the New Yorker. Zivic never looked better as he kept battering his foe around the ring from gong to gong. Berger was on the canvas three times in the sixth round alone for counts of 9, 7 and 7. The bell sounded on the last count, ending the round. The show drew a very good crowd that paid a gross of $9,520.25. Zivic tipped the beam at 149 pounds and Berger, 146."
