Goosby won the 1st round, and then appeared to injure his right hand on the top of Romero's head in the 2nd round. In the 4th round, Romero dropped Goosby with a right-left to the head for an eight-count. Goosby rose wobbly, and was put down again with a few punches to the head, at this point his corner threw in the towel.
