"Joe Stack, fighting in unorthodox style that made him a poor target was, nonetheless, no match for Pedro Hernandez. The Puerto Rican with a shifty style was inside often enough to make Stack look poor on defense and scored often to the head with right and left hands.

Stack’s plan of attack was to cut Hernandez’ middle in an attempt to slow the little brown man down, but the latter would not stand still long enough to let the Philadelphian get set for the punch which was supposed to do all the damage."
