Saille came out aggressively, taking the bout to Hook. Hook however caught Saille with a right hand that hurt him before the first round ended. In the 2nd round, Hook again hurt Saille with a right hand that forced him to clinch. After Saille, broke from the clinch, Hook hit him with another right hand, which sent him staggering to the ropes, where he eventually went to the canvas. Saille rose at nine, but was hurt twice more with right hands, which led the referee to stop the bout.
