Henry Hook 120 lbs drew with Al Jerome 122 lbs by MD in round 10 of 10

"It was apparent to the majority of fans that Hooks had the best of the mill throughout." (The Ring, September 1934, page 56) The New Orleans Times-Picayune agreed, also believing that Jerome was lucky to get a draw, and reporting that Hook hurt Jerome in the 2nd and 3rd round. Hook was unable to hurt Jerome after that, as he appeared to be a bit tired and inaccurate, while still being aggressive.
