Robinson straightened up Rangel with a long right hand to the jaw, about a minute into the 2nd round. Robinson scored his first knockdown shortly thereafter with another long right. Rangel took a nine-count, and then was punched back into the ropes by Robinson, before sinking to the canvas again after another right to the jaw. Rangel rose at eight, and was sent back against the ropes again by Robinson, at which point the referee intervened.
