After outboxing Polite in the 1st round, Bratton was hurt by a right hand in the 2nd round that forced him to trade with Polite inside. One minute into the 3rd round, Bratton knocked Polite down with a left hook followed by a right cross. Polite took a nine-count, and was soon down again. With the count at three, Polite's corner threw in the towel.
