This was a slow bout for the first three rounds. Knight did not get started until the 6th round, allowing Perroni to gain an edge in the middle rounds. Knight continued to score with his left in the 7th and 8th rounds, but did little in the last two rounds. Perroni, who was tired, made the best of his opportunities throwing many punches that went wide.
