• Davis knocked down and badly stunned in the 3rd round by a Maysonet left uppercut. He rises, but remains on shaky legs for the rest of the round.
• The right eye of Aaron Davis begins to swell shut in round 4.
• A wilting Maysonet receives a standing eight count after being hit with several hard Davis punches against the ropes in round six. He rises, but moments again is trapped in a corner and crumples under the pressure of Davis, where the ref waves off the contest.
• Maysonet complains post fight that he was thumbed, a replay of the end of the fight shows a hard uppercut seemingly being responsible for the damage.
