Charley Johnson lost to Jimmy Handler by KO in round 2

About two weeks previous to the bout, while sparring, Johnson broke a finger on his right hand and it had to be amputated at the first joint.
The bout was scheduled for 8 rounds. Johnson was knocked through the ropes in the 2nd round and was too weak to continue. Johnny Eckhardt was the referee.
