This was the last 20 round bout ever fought in San Francisco. In the December 19, 1914 San Francisco Chronicle, it was reported that twenty-five minutes before midnight, Red Watson and Eddie Moy both had their hands raised before 2,500 fans.

The Seattle Star reported that this was the last 20-round bout held in the entire state of California before the anti-boxing law went into effect. [1]
