Dawson knocked Daniels down in the 6th round with a left hook to the jaw for a seven-count. Daniels attacked Dawson and drove him to the ropes upon rising, but was hurt by a left hook by Dawson. Dawson then followed up with a right to the jaw, that put Daniels down for the count.
