According to the Portland Oregonian, Castillo landed a low blow that awoke Spina. Within ten seconds of the blow, Spina dropped Castillo for the first of four knockdowns in the 3rd. Louttit stopped the bout while Castillo was on his knees from the 4th knockdown.
