"Trambitas smothered Gorman with a kaliedoscopic assortment of boxing gloves through the latter portions of the bout. Once or twice in the rounds it looked to some as though he hit Gorman a trifle too low. Gorman complained afterward. However, the Roumanian battler seemed to outclass the Portuguese lightweight and the decision proved entirely in accord with the sentiments of the 600 or 700 fans congregated in the spacious grandstand."Portland Oregonian
