Leo Houck 157 lbs lost to Billy Murray by TKO in round 14 of 20
- Date: 1914-02-23
- Location: Coffroth's Arena, Daly City, California, USA
- Referee: Jim Griffin
The bout was stopped with Houck helpless in his corner, taking lefts and rights to the head uncovered. Houck had appeared to be hurt early in the round by a right hand to the chin. According to the San Francisco Examiner, Murray outlanded Houck three-to-one. Murray was able to drive Houck to the ropes several times and pin him there with his attack. Houck had his moments starting in the 10th round when he was able to score with lefts to the face for two or three rounds.
Houck would tell the Lancaster New Era in the June 12, 1926 edition that he felt the stoppage was unjustified, and that he felt he was dancing around unhurt.
