Stolz outstabbed, outmaneuvered and battered Mouzon during the first nine rounds of the fight. Desperately behind on points, and needing a knockout, Mouzon lashed out in the 10th round. In the 10th, the two traded, and Mouzon landed a hook that Stolz through the ropes, to his knees. While Stolz was on a knee, Mouzon hit with a punch, giving the round away.
